This is the interface that all test controlling classes (RunTests derived) should implement.

configureTest

boolean configureTest(java.lang.String testScriptFile)
               throws java.lang.Exception

Set the environment up for running a test.

Parameters:

testScriptFile - the file path to the test script to read.

Returns:

true if configured OK, false otherwise.

Throws:

java.lang.Exception - any error.

configureTest

boolean configureTest(TestSpec thisTestSpec)
               throws java.lang.Exception

Set the environment up for running a test.

Parameters:

thisTestSpec - the test specification object.

Returns:

true if configured OK, false otherwise.

Throws:

java.lang.Exception - any error.

runTestSet

java.lang.String runTestSet()
                     throws java.lang.Exception

Run a set of tests based on an already created script object and initialised environment.

Returns:

a description of the execution trace.

Throws:

java.lang.Exception - any error.
